Advice on weight loss

Diets are really hard to do and really hard to commit to. Having to give up certain foods for a certain amount of time can get annoying and stressful. For me, I eat when I am bored and that is not good at all. Working out can be a pain too, especially if it’s at home. Obviously you aren’t going to have fun working out in your own house while staring at a wall or at the ground. Usually when I find myself slacking whilst on the treadmill, I blast music on as loud as it can go because that motivates me to stay on longer. Music is a great key to working out because it’s a huge motivation for me. It motivates me to finish the song or to play one more song. Plus, it gets much more fun when a good song starts playing and you start jamming to it. I try to workout at least once a day or once every other day. I usually workout on the treadmill in my basement and add some booty workouts when I finish on the treadmill or take my dog out for a jog/walk around the neighborhood. Now that the weather is getting nice and hot, I’m going to start to walk my dog more often. I am aware that a lot of people don’t like jogging but even WALKING for 30 minutes a day can help you!!! Trust me on this one, I started walking a few months back and I lost 10 lbs in 2 months. I walked everyday for 30-45 minutes and blasted some spanish music (of course its the music of your choice) I stopped walking/jogging for a while but lately I have been getting back into it and I am starting to feel good about myself again. Having a support system is also a major key to being successful in losing weight. My mother knows that I am unhappy with my weight so she pushes me to eat healthy and workout everyday. It gets so annoying and so aggravating at times but its all because she wants me to be healthy and lose weight. And if you really hate working out, eat better! Changing your eating habits can really, really help you lose weight. Instead of eating cereal in the morning, eat oatmeal. Add your own toppings to it as well. The toppings I add to my oatmeal is fresh fruits, chia seeds, flaxseeds, nuts, and a combo of raisins and cranberries. It took me a while to get use to but now I love it and its super nutritious. Also, eat in moderation and smaller portions. If you are anything like me, this is the hardest thing to do (because I love food so much.) Not only will this show results but it will also make you feel good about yourself that you have control over your body and everything you do. If I can do it, you can do it! Have faith in yourself and believe in yourself at all times. Without that, there is no point in doing anything to be honest. I hope this helped and motivated you guys! Stay confident and happy ❤
